DO NOT TAKE VALUABLES ON THE RIVER as most items sink and are never found. Lock them in your vehicle well hid. Texas Tubes does not have lockers or storage on property. Do not bring anything from your vehicle that you are not taking on the river with you. The only thing we will hold (as a courtesy) is car keys, and only with a picture ID. |
GLASS and STYROFOAM ARE ILLEGAL on any Texas waterway and can be confiscated with possible fines or arrest. Yeti and other expensive coolers are not recommended on the river. Texas Tubes is not responsible for lost or stolen merchandise. |
PARK ONLY in designated areas, cars in undesignated areas may be towed. Parking is free on property owned by Texas Tubes. If full, other lots may have a charge to park. |
CHILDREN must be 4 years old or older, and must be accompanied by a Parent or Guardian, Kids younger than 4 years old are not allowed on the river. Life vests / jackets are recommended for all children and non swimmers and are Free for all customers upon request at Texas Tubes. No Life Guards are on duty, use caution, think safety first! |
SUN BLOCK should be applied both BEFORE and DURING your floating trips. |
TENNIS SHOES, water shoes or other footwear are recommended to protect against cuts, scrapes and bruises while walking to and from your entry/exit points. Shoes also protect your feet from the rocky river bottom. |
A CAP, HAT or VISOR and SUNGLASSES will help shield your face, eyes and head from the harsh rays of the sun. |
DRINK PLENTY OF WATER before and during float to keep yourself hydrated. |
